The board of the Royal Belgian Tabletennisfederation has examined the third and last complaint in the GPS-case of La Villette Charleroi. The complaint of the Provincial Comité of Antwerp has been found ungrounded. With all complaints examined, the competition can be restarted.

EBS and Virton, the only two teams that were sure about eachother, have fixed their encounters already. Monday 5th of April, the club of Luxemburg will receive EBS, where Grégory Obert will play his first match of this season. The return is planned on 22nd of April in Auvelais. Both teams are playing for places 5 to 8. The other two teams for these places are Deinze and Vedrinamur.

In the semi-finals for the Championship, La Villette Charleori will face PW Diest. The Antwerp teams of Hoboken and Mortsel will fight for the second ticket of the final.

The competition commission of the Belgian Tabletennis Federation has looked at the complaint of Sokah Hoboken about the GPS-case of La Villette Charleroi. The commission stands by its earlier decision. La Villette Charleroi loses the match on forfeit, has to pay a penalty of 1250 euros but isn't excluded from the competition.

Sokah Hoboken can appeal again, if they want to, but it's highly unlikely as they have qualified themselves for the semi-finals of the Championship.

The third appeal, by the Provincial Comité of Antwerp, will be looked at by the National Board of Directions on March 29th.

The appeal of Knal Deinze against the federations decision concerning the GPS-case of La Villette Charleroi has been rejected. Deinze asked for a recompensation because they had to cancel the top bill and repay their spectators. The federation rejected the claim because Deinze didn't use the correct procedures.

According to several sources, two extra teams appeal in the GPS-case against La Villette Charleroi. It is rumoured that both Deinze, who didn't qualify for the semi finals, and Diest, who would play against Villette in the semis, joined Sokah Hoboken in their appeal.

In a worst case scenario for Villette, they are relegated to 1st Division and therefore are no longer entitled to play in the Champions League next season.

The last match of play off poule B was a very important match. Not only did Mortsel (Rumgay) and Virton fight for a ticket to the semi-finals. The result was also decisive for the future of Diest (Jenkins).

It was eventually a very close, but fair match in Antwerp. Virton was able to defend their chances and defeated Mortsel with 2 against 5. Nevertheless, it's Mortsel and Diest who take the tickets for the semi-finals as both teams have a better ratio in their won and lost sets. Rumgay opened very strong for Mortsel and won 3-0 from Dragos Olteanu, who didn't win any match today.
